Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: 1 Develops and assists the business unit in implementing strategies to improve financial performance. 2 Analyses financial results and presents to senior management in finance and the business unit. Inclusive of Income Statement and Balance Sheet / ROIC. 3 Responsible for all business unit financial forecasting including: in-quarter forecasts, quarterly rolling forecasts and annual operating plans. 4 Provides financial analysis as well as approval for all BU capital appropriations requests (CAR’s). Also prepares post completion analysis of applicable CAR’s 5 Assists in quarter end GAAP reporting by including analyses for business to be included in the Management Discussion and Analysis section of the Forms 10-q and 10-K. 6 Additional Ad-hoc reporting and analysis necessary for the business and finance management Experience and Skills: Knowledge: Must be able to read, interpret and analysis financial information / reports with a strong ability to find and resolve problem in a creative manner Skills: Needs to be able compute financial information such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet, ROIC and Cash Flows as well as formulas including; net present value, internal rate of return and others. Must be proficient in Microsoft office products including excel, outlook, PowerPoint, access and word as well as in ERP systems with preference in Oracle. Abilities: Must be highly analytical and have strong financial acumen. Also, must be able to communicate in a global environment to senior management as well as throughout all levels of the organization. Education: B.S. or B.A. in Finance or Accounting Experience: At least 5 years of financial experience focusing on analysis and reporting required |
