Based in: Beijing Mission Microsoft Health Solutions Group is a specialist business unit within Microsoft Corporation responsible for marketing and selling their Amalga solutions to Hospitals and Regional health organisations. The Amalga Unified Intellegence System offers a new way to access, analyse and display clinical and financial data from across a healthcare organisation. The Amalga HIS and RIS/PACs solutions address core clinical and financial operation needs of hospitals. The Health Solutions Group is expanding its operations in South East Asia with the addition of a Physician to support the relationship building with key influencers in the region and within the prospects. The primary goal of the team in the Greater China Region is to create our business presence, and to secure our first wins for the Amalga HIS and RIS/PACs solution, and ultimately creating a broad profitable customer base. Your mission is to connect with the medical community and senior management teams within the target prospects and countries, to represent Microsoft Health Solutions Group and the Amalga product. Part of your role is to engage with the clinical bodies and standards organizations, as well as, presenting at key industry forums. Finally the role will also involve providing feedback to the Microsoft development teams on the unique requirements for a specific country and to advise the implementation team on specific clinical processes. Essential Job Functions - Present, discuss and sell the value of Amalga application to the senior medical community within a hospital or hospital group - Develop an understanding and knowledge of a countries medical community, establishing the key areas of influence. - Connect with the clinical standards bodies within a country to ensure that the Amalga solution adheres to their clinical data standards, security, privacy and interoperability requirements. - Working with the APAC and WW Health Solutions Group provide the clinical insight from a particular sales opportunity through to the overall market analysis. - Represent HSG at key medical conferences, take up specific presenting opportunities. Qualifications Seasoned professional, who has been a practicing medic with experience in a number of hospitals within APAC, as well as, experience of supporting a sales organisation.
